How to Compress a PDF Under 100 KB for Online Forms
This guide shows you how to use PDF Compressor and what to check before using the downloaded file.
Start with the upload limit
A form portal may ask for a PDF below 100 KB. Check whether it means strictly less than 100 KB and whether the document must remain readable. Keep the original PDF so you can compare the result.
Use the 100 KB preset
Open the PDF Compressor and select your file. Choose the Under 100 KB preset, run compression, then download the result. If you have several files, the batch option can provide them together as a ZIP.
Check the result before submitting
Look at the downloaded file size in your device and open the PDF. Zoom in on names, numbers, stamps and signatures. If important details are blurred, start again with a better source scan or a less aggressive setting. A target preset cannot guarantee every source PDF will fit: image-heavy and already compressed files may stay above the limit.
When 50 KB or 200 KB is requested
The compressor also has target presets for 50 KB and 200 KB. Choose the limit shown by the portal, and verify the actual output size. Never assume that a smaller file is acceptable if its text cannot be read.
