What is the best PDF size for a resume?
Follow the employer’s upload limit. Use the 200 KB, 500 KB or 1 MB preset as a target, and prioritize readable text over the smallest possible file.
Can I merge a resume and cover letter into one PDF?
Yes. Add both PDFs, place the resume first and the cover letter next, then download the merged application. Follow the employer’s instructions if separate uploads are required.
Does compressing a resume reduce quality?
Safe mode optimizes PDF structure without converting pages to images. Balanced and Smallest File can reduce image quality and remove selectable text and links. Always review the downloaded file.
Can I reorder pages in my application PDF?
Yes. Upload the PDF in the Organizer and use Move up or Move down. You can also rotate, duplicate, delete or extract pages.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. These tools process your selected documents in your browser. The website may load assets such as fonts, but your PDF files are not uploaded by these tools.
