How to Convert PDF Pages to JPG or PNG
This guide shows you how to use PDF to JPG/PNG and what to check before using the downloaded file.
Choose JPG or PNG
Use JPG when a smaller image file is helpful, especially for photo-heavy pages. Use PNG for text, diagrams or screenshots where sharp edges matter. PNG is lossless, while JPG quality settings trade detail for file size.
Pick pages and resolution
Open PDF to JPG/PNG, upload the PDF and choose all pages or selected pages. The tool offers 72, 150, 300 and 600 DPI. A higher DPI creates more pixels and usually larger files; 150 or 300 DPI is a practical starting point for many documents.
Preview and export
Choose JPG or PNG, adjust JPG quality if needed, and preview an output page. Download a single image when you need one page, or download a ZIP for several pages. The tool also offers WebP and grayscale options when those fit your use case.
Check the image after download
Open the exported image at its actual size. Fine print and signatures should remain readable. Converting a PDF page to an image does not create editable text; if a portal requests a PDF rather than an image, keep or prepare a PDF instead.
